Ofqual Regulated Course

This course is tailored to determine the needs, requirements and ultimately produce a Risk Assessment of First Aid needs for a business.  The learning outcomes describe the skills and knowledge a delegate will earn by successfully completing this qualification.

In order to produce a Risk Assessment of First Aid Needs, consideration of workplace hazards and risks, the size of the organisation and other relevant factors need to be taken into account in order to determine what First Aid equipment, facilities and trained personnel should be provided.

This course will be a blend of interactive learning with case scenarios.  Delegate will also learn practical skills in line with industry standard guidelines.

We aim to improve learner knowledge and understanding by:

  • Understanding the role and responsibilities of a First Aid Appointed person.
  • Understand the employer responsibilities in respect of First Aid.
  • Understand how to manage First Aid related incident in the absence of a qualified First Aider/Emergency First Aider.

Delegate must successfully pass the written assessment to achieve qualification, delegate pass or are referred.
