The course has been designed to aim at staff and clinicians in the Healthcare settings who are responsible for handling; administrating and disposal of medication within a care and clinical environment; this can be dentists, nurses, podiatrists, carers and community workers etc.
The course is designed for delegates to understand the terminology of the difference between over the counter and prescription drugs. This includes safe handling requirements for medication in the Health and Social Care Sectors, also the process for safe administration.
This course will be a blend of interactive learning with case scenarios. Delegates will also develop practical skills in line with industry standards and guidelines.
