An anaphylactic shock, or anaphylaxis, is a serious allergic reaction to an allergen, such as a food substance or insect sting. If not treated promptly and appropriately, it is life threatening and may ultimately lead to death.
This training course is suitable for qualified First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders, and will allow them to become confident in recognising and treating anaphylaxis in a safe and efficient manner.

• Approximately 50% of children now suffer from some form of allergy
• Understand what constitutes an allergic reaction
• Gain confidence in recognising and treating a casualty with an auto injector.
